The SOURCE team served 965 people with our free tax preparation services in 2024—463 more than last year! This equates to approximately $193,000 saved on tax preparation and resulted in more than $1.5 million in tax refunds. The SOURCE has been a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site for 19 years, providing this critical free service to both the employees of our partner companies as well as the broader community. We are grateful to all our volunteer tax preparers who commit their time to offer this resource to West Michigan residents—their dedication has allowed us to help prepare more than 8,000 tax returns since we started.
