Any employee of a member company can use The SOURCE, as well as anyone else in their home. There aren’t any income guidelines or any other requirement to use The SOURCE!
In order to help you best, we will need to get some details from you about your situation. We may need to see you in person and will try to be flexible around your work schedule. We will then coordinate services to address your concern and will support you as you work through it.
Not unless you give your consent. In some cases we may need to verify some basic information about you with your employer, such as wage, date of hire, or attendance history. If this is the case, your personal information will still remain confidential and we will not tell your employer why you are seeking SOURCE assistance.
You can call The SOURCE on your own at (616)452-5295 or request a call from The SOURCE through your Human Resource representative. The SOURCE maintains regular office hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. However, we are able to accommodate employees from any shift. Please feel free to stop by our office to meet the staff and see our facility or call to set up an appointment.
The SOURCE offers on-site DHHS caseworkers that can help you with various employment and home- related issues. If you do not have a case with DHHS, there are other caseworkers at The SOURCE that can help you and your family.

Employee Resource Networks are an employer lead model to solve the issue of job retention. To learn more click here.
EAPs are designed and staffed to handle acute issues on a short term basis, often by referring the employee to outside resources. Likely, a given EAP is contracted by many, many employers to work with their employees, often at the job jeopardy stage, and may not be available to follow-up on the referrals provided. The SOURCE, on the other hand, works with a few specific employers and customizes services to meet the needs of their employees. Our services are designed to be high-touch and long term – we address the issue at hand and then work with the employee to align resources and build assets so that the issue does not repeat.
Once the employer member has signed an memorandum of understanding, the responsibilities for the employer are to participate in consortium meetings and adhere to the Employer Best Practices for maximum outreach and benefit.
